This is the second time George has moved us. The crew was very professional, ontime and great to work with.

THE BEST! Don't even bother with the other companies, just trust the reviews you see here for a stress-free move. This was our third move in a year. (I wish I had used George Moving for the first two as well.) The men worked HARD! They arrived perfectly on time, were friendly, professional and clean. I was really nervous about the entire ordeal after a few bad experiences with other companies, but once these guys came in and got started, I felt much better. Their attitudes and professionalism put me at ease right away. I was a bit worried because we moved to a third floor apartment. Well...these men are impressive beyond belief! They worked as a super team, were very organized and very strong. They had everything moved within the estimated time frame. I was just amazed by their ability. They were extra careful not to bump walls or anything. They took very good care of my stuff and I had a box of extremely fragile items, which I pointed out to them and they took special care of it, too. We moved to a nice complex so I was very pleased to see them taking such great care. I would hire them again in a NY minute! They took a couple short breather breaks, which they really earned, but boy when they were moving they were moving. George movers really know how to choose their workers. The men we had deserve a Christmas bonus, we tipped them, I'd have given more if I had it (tough times for us at the moment) because they were just that good. Thank you so much guys! You ARE the best! ~

Movers were on time, professional, easy to work with…
We have moved several times and this was the best experience we have had. Movers were on time,professional,easy to work with, and arrived with our stuff in less than week--from Pittsburgh to Colorado. They unloaded quickly and successfully got a 14 ft church pew up to the second floor without damage to the pew or the wall

This is our first time using George Moving and Storage and we would highly recommend them. Our move encompassed a local component and a move from NC. They were extremely professional and courteous in all phases of the move. Jimmy headed up the crew that moved us from NC. They handled all of the packing, moving and unpacking. All of our things arrived without a scratch. They really went the extra mile to make sure that everything was taken care of!
The team is very professional, friendly
We made a cross-country move recently from the East Coast to the West Coast. The only tireless part of the move was the packer & mover service of George Moving. The 2 people who came to pack the things were warm & friendly, and took utmost care of all our things, so not a single item was damaged, broken or leaked. And everything was delivered in just 5 days to the other coast, when we'd just found the apartment. The duo who came were equally warm & courteous. The team is very professional, friendly, and to top it all, very efficient. I even recommended them to a fellow-passenger on my flight, as she recounted the horrible experience she'd had.

We have used George Moving and Storage for the past two years for 2 residential moves and storage of our things. We have always been extremely happy with the level of service we received from our contact, Tyler and all the movers. Everyone has always been extremely kind, courteous, helpful, professional and efficient. This is a company that goes above and beyond to take care of both the customer and the customer's things. A wonderful experience
I moved on 3/24/11 -- in the midst of a late year snow. The workers, who were all named 'Jim', were essentially unfazed by the weather and worked tirelessly and professionally throughout the entire time. They made the whole process almost fun. Amy, who contacted me before, during, and after the move was extremely efficient and personable. A wonderful experience. Frankly, I hope I don't have to move again for a long time; however, if I do, I wouldn't choose any other company.
Walked us through all aspects of the quote
wife and I received to quotes to move furniture from her mother's house in Pittsburgh to two locations in Midlothian,Virginia. Ben Morgan was the sales reoresentative that gave us an excellent quote and walked us through all aspects of the quote. Amy in operations and Dave and Frank (our packers and movers) were just as professional as Ben.
