Best movers ever!
We had an amazing experience. We moved 11 minutes away from our old home to a new build. We had our furniture stored for 9 days. Our crew showed up at both homes on time, punctual and ready to go. Sam, Paul (and third mover I hate to say it forgot his name he was so kind) were the best. I was TOTALLY comfortable with them in my home and around my family. They were sweet, helped and even went above and beyond. None of our walls or furniture was damaged. They were very kind.I wouldn't have changed a thing and 100% recommend them for any moving considerations!
Downsizing from a home lived in for over 30 years
Dave and his team were very professional and yet extremely caring while moving my elderly mother who downsized. She lived in the house for over 30 years and every item held special memories to her. She relocated from a 3 bedroom house to a condo in the same area. The crew listened to her concerns while still working effeciently throughout the day; even bring some (much needed) humor to help lighten the magnitude of the change occuring in her life. Always respectful and the little details did not go unnoticed, like making sure there was always a comfortable chair for her to sit. We joked that her recliner needed to be the last thing loaded and the first item off the truck...and they made that happen. Their part helped that piece of the transition run very smooth.

Rebecca and Chris were fantastic to work with and helped coordinate a move that had many moving parts. George and Drew were prompt and careful with my Mom’s items and made her feel comfortable during a stressful time. The entire team was great to work with. Highly Recomend.
Outstanding Interstate Move. Highly Recommend
Jack and his team were phenomenal to work with. Our interstate move went incredibly smoothly from start to finish. Communication was excellent — they stayed in touch the entire time and kept us updated on the schedule and timing. The crew was professional, efficient, and very careful with our belongings. Everything arrived safely and nothing was damaged. The entire process was surprisingly low stress. I would absolutely recommend Jack and his team.
Move Review
The guys were very kind and friendly. The move went well and they moved everything that needed to be moved. However, there was a lot of chit chat, smoking outside, which extended the move pick up time longer than expected. Additionally they left cigarette butts and empty water bottles and Yahoo drink cans on the driveway and house stoop. They seemed to be more efficient when moving the furniture into the new location but almost forgot to put the bed together and unpack the TV.

I called George Moving and Storage to get a long distance move quote. Paul came out right away and took his time with me going over everything. On moving day, I was nervous about whether they would protect my antique furniture. Jack showed up with his crew and they wrapped everything thoroughly in moving blankets and even put down protective floor runners. They had my house packed up in a couple of hours and were very competent. Jack met us in Florida and had another great crew ready to unload. The other half of the move was just as smooth. Thank you for such a great experience and professional staff. The price was the best too! I highly recommend George Moving and Storage.
It was a great experience
I've moved several times over the last decade and have used various moving companies. George Moving company has been my best experience by far! I appreciate the care the friendliness of the folks involved. It was great for me that they could also store my stuff for awhile and then move my things back out of storage and return them to me. They wrapped everything and took great care of my belongings!
