George Moving experience was Great!!
We moved from Pittsburgh to North Carolina and used George Moving. Rebecca was wonderful to work with and put us completely at ease. Jimmy was the manager/driver for our move and did an outstanding job managing the crew in Pittsburgh and North Carolina. We also needed our gym equipment disassembled and then reassembled after the move and that process was seamless. Would absolutely recommend George Moving.

Always Dependable and Professional
I've been using George Moving for years to move large shipping crates between two or more locations. Their team is always on the ball and super quick to respond when I need a move done. Their drivers can maneuver Pittsburgh roads and alleyways or small muddy country roads with huge trucks in a way that makes it seem easy. The movers are always prepared and professional. Even though we've done so many moves throughout the years, they still have a high level of care and attention for each move. I truly have no complaints about George Moving, if I could give them more stars I would.
Excellent service
I had an excellent experience with George Moving. This was my second time using them and I would highly recommend them to anyone. From the house visit for the estimate, the packing crew, the truck loading and unload crews, everyone was helpful, polite, friendly, snd very professional. The price given was the price I paid. All my be were handled with care.
Best movers ever!
We had an amazing experience. We moved 11 minutes away from our old home to a new build. We had our furniture stored for 9 days. Our crew showed up at both homes on time, punctual and ready to go. Sam, Paul (and third mover I hate to say it forgot his name he was so kind) were the best. I was TOTALLY comfortable with them in my home and around my family. They were sweet, helped and even went above and beyond. None of our walls or furniture was damaged. They were very kind.I wouldn't have changed a thing and 100% recommend them for any moving considerations!
Downsizing from a home lived in for over 30 years
Dave and his team were very professional and yet extremely caring while moving my elderly mother who downsized. She lived in the house for over 30 years and every item held special memories to her. She relocated from a 3 bedroom house to a condo in the same area. The crew listened to her concerns while still working effeciently throughout the day; even bring some (much needed) humor to help lighten the magnitude of the change occuring in her life. Always respectful and the little details did not go unnoticed, like making sure there was always a comfortable chair for her to sit. We joked that her recliner needed to be the last thing loaded and the first item off the truck...and they made that happen. Their part helped that piece of the transition run very smooth.

Rebecca and Chris were fantastic to work with and helped coordinate a move that had many moving parts. George and Drew were prompt and careful with my Mom’s items and made her feel comfortable during a stressful time. The entire team was great to work with. Highly Recomend.
Outstanding Interstate Move. Highly Recommend
Jack and his team were phenomenal to work with. Our interstate move went incredibly smoothly from start to finish. Communication was excellent — they stayed in touch the entire time and kept us updated on the schedule and timing. The crew was professional, efficient, and very careful with our belongings. Everything arrived safely and nothing was damaged. The entire process was surprisingly low stress. I would absolutely recommend Jack and his team.
Move Review
The guys were very kind and friendly. The move went well and they moved everything that needed to be moved. However, there was a lot of chit chat, smoking outside, which extended the move pick up time longer than expected. Additionally they left cigarette butts and empty water bottles and Yahoo drink cans on the driveway and house stoop. They seemed to be more efficient when moving the furniture into the new location but almost forgot to put the bed together and unpack the TV.
