What a great moving company. They did a terrific job. Friendly, efficient, clean, and careful; they had my things documented, labeled, and loaded in no time. Importantly, not a single scuff mark on the walls, and I had some very large furniture that had to be moved down a tight stairwell. The company was responsive, and very flexible with respect to pick up and delivery times and dates, thereby making my move a lot less stressful. I highly recommend George Moving and Storage!

The best moving experience!
We have used George's Moving from the Freedom, PA location for 4 moves and never experienced anything but top rate service. Starting with Debbie who made a house call to provide furniture & weight estimates and on to Diane her assistant for finalizing arrangements and having Jim lead the team of movers, we were taken care of throughout the entire process. We were very happy with the services provided!
Moving Day
Comments as noted above PLUS the willingness of the moving team to be of service in any way possible was a strong asset. The main area where unwanted items were packed was the kitchen. A large kitchen with many cabinets- we should have marked unwanted items in a clear fashion; that would have saved us a lot work in sorting through boxes and repacking three to be returned to our former home for a future charity pick-up.

Moved from one area of the city to another. The price was fair, the crew that arrived were pleasant to deal with and finished within the estimated time (actually 30min early). I would recommend and would use George again.
Big move/ stress free
We moved from Pittsburgh to St. Louis, with a roomful going to Dallas. The move was complicated and George Moving handled it with flying colors. Debbie was very professional when she came out to do the estimate. Diane was quite patient with my questions and special requests and kept me informed. Special recognition should go to Jack ( whose crew loaded) and Jim ( whose crew unloaded). We had several unusual and delicate items and both crews went to extreme measures to be careful with our belongings and to honor our special instructions. Truly, no one could have done more to reassure us that they respected our belongings. Thank you for a lovely move! At a highly stressful and emotional time,everybody at George was professional and reassuring.
