I was referred to George Moving by a trusted friend who had just used George Moving weeks earlier, and had used them in the past. Highly professional and took great care in moving every piece of my furniture. They arrived on time and were very polite and considerate. I would use them, if needed, in the future and I've already recommended them to several people who will be moving in the near future. I had called and received other estimates...George Moving was, hands down, completely professional and my overall cost was less than my other estimates. Moving, in general, is entirely stressful. They totally eased my concerns and had no reason to stress with them!

We have used George Moving 3 times. The first was 10 years ago when we did a cross country move that included vehicles, a hot tub and over 3,000 sq ft of house "stuff." We used them again for a local Pittsburgh move in 2011, as they did such a good job on the cross country. Lastly, we used George just last week on another big move from Pittsburgh to New Hampshire and had a great experience. Not a single broken or lost item and a schedule that worked perfectly with our cross country drive and the closing on our new home. Jack and his team are hard working, thorough and kind. They bring a great value to the experience with their service, but the true value is in getting to know these guys and understanding how much they cared about our belongings and our move. I would use George Moving again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them! Thanks for everything, guys!!!

These guys were really great. they worked hard, moving us not only from our rental, but also from our storage unit. And, we also received some money back, so they are honest. The movers also pointed out a few dings in the wall, and took steps for us to get it repaired. Great company.

The actual movers were great. Big Jack and his crew did an awesome.job. Very professional go the job done right. But for the sales person not so good. He did not listen to my needs. He claims I said things I did not. But the Big Jack and his crew made up for it. No damages or issues some as silk form Pittsburgh to San Antonio Texas.

I was thankful to George Moving for arranging my move to Louisiana on short notice (about 3 weeks) during a busy season. Debbie was very helpful and prompt during the consultation. On moving day, the team was punctual and efficient and seemed to do a good job of taking inventory and wrapping my belongings when required. I did encounter a few issues after leaving Pittsburgh. My credit card was overcharged for the move initially, and the delivering company informed me that they would be delivering later than the promised window, however both of these issues were resolved with intervention from George Moving management. My furniture arrived mostly in good shape, although a few things were cracked/wobbly/missing screws, etc. Overall, I was satisfied with George Moving for providing service on short notice and working out the issues that arose.

Everything was top notch on George's end. Debbie was very nice and helped to get the most accurate quote and fastest delivery. When the movers came, they were fast and efficient and wrapped a lot of things even more than we had! The movers were also very professional and a stressful day was made less so by their effectiveness. That said, I think that the overall company of North American let George down. George was absolutely first rate, but somewhere between their truck and my new house something was less than well taken care of and some of my boxes looked like something VERY heavy had been put on them - much heavier than anything I'd packed. The other people also broke a piece of furniture which I knew might not make it but which had survived a move before - albeit in a dedicated truck with no warehouses or handovers beyond being taken from my old apartment and brought to the new one. As such, I'm giving George top ranks and I hope that NorthAmerican can live up to their standards in future.
