George M&S did a great job! Dave supervised the packing with two assistants, and Lonnie drove my furnishings to the destination. Everything arrived safely. Lonnie made sure that he was the one to carry important pieces of furniture, rather than relegating it to the two assistants from the destination location. It was very professional from start to finish.

Great experience from the time my employer set me up with them throughout the whole process. Quick replies to all my questions beforehand and a very smooth move with no damages. It is rare I ever leave reviews because I expect things to be done well if I am paying but when companies go out of their way to make my life easier I think they deserve it. I will definitely use George Moving again in the future if needed.

Can't say enough about my recent move with George Moving & Storage having just moved from Pittsburgh to North Carolina. From my initial meeting with Debbie, who estimated the weight and cost of my household items, to the movers themselves, the move went smoothly and without any problems. Debbie's estimate was spot on. What she quoted as the price was accurate and didn't cost a penny more when I reached my destination. The driver, Jim, and his crew were very professional and handled all of my items carefully. Everything got to the new home without any breakage. The delivery date that was estimated was accurate. There were no hidden charges. I would certainly recommend George Moving & Storage.

So far, so good. Had to move from our home, which sold in less than 2 days, into an apartment until our new home is completed. Thus far, they have taken our furiture and moved into storage. Went extremely well. The crew of 3 came on time (actually a few minutes early), put down shrink wrap and runners to protect the floors, covered our stair railing with a pad, and began to pad/shrink wrap the furniture. Our entire living room set with sofa, love seat and chair were recliners and very heavy, plus our bed has a mechanical lift under it. So, as the told us, we had "monster" furniture Told them if they were chosen to move us from storage into our new home, at least they wouldn't have to deal with steps since we are downsizing Even though we'll have a basement, it is a walkout with a sliding glass door that they will be able to bring the furniture in! Originally, we were told they would send 4 men and it would take 4 - 5 hours. Well, the 3 they sent were able to finish in little over 4 hours, including the signing the paperwork! Even gave us our names if we wanted them to do the move into our new home. (Are they a glutton for punishment?!) Also, during the move, Renee from the office called to check on how things were going. Would recommend them without hesitation! I'm sure they will handle the rest of the move as well.....

Fantastic from start to finish. Paul made an efficient estimate, Andy was a great driver and load/unload manager, the move teams were thorough and fast, and 100% of my items were delivered with no damages. Additionally, the truck weighed in under my estimate, and I was issued a proper and prompt refund for the difference. Honest, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

All aspects of the move went very smoothly -- from the initial estimate to the final paperwork after everything was moved. Dave, Shawn, and Jay were professional and personable, taking extreme care to wrap all of the furniture and move it carefully from one house to the other, even being concerned and assisting with proper pads on furniture legs to prevent damage to our new hardwood floor. This was our first experience with George Moving and it couldn't have been better. Thanks to everyone for making it a smooth, quick, and painless move.

Excellent job again. 3rd time that I have utilized George's. They are 3 for 3 with no problems, damage, or delays. This time, Dave T., Jay, and Shaun (or Shawn) handled the local move. Friendly, efficient, and were very patient with adjusting the furniture to my wife's satisfaction as they understood that I cannot adjust / move furniture by myself anymore.
