George Moving is the best!
I called George Moving and Storage to get a long distance move quote. Paul came out right away and took his time with me going over everything. On moving day, I was nervous about whether they would protect my antique furniture. Jack showed up with his crew and they wrapped everything thoroughly in moving blankets and even put down protective floor runners. They had my house packed up in a couple of hours and were very competent. Jack met us in Florida and had another great crew ready to unload. The other half of the move was just as smooth. Thank you for such a great experience and professional staff. The price was the best too! I highly recommend George Moving and Storage.
It was a great experience
I've moved several times over the last decade and have used various moving companies. George Moving company has been my best experience by far! I appreciate the care the friendliness of the folks involved. It was great for me that they could also store my stuff for awhile and then move my things back out of storage and return them to me. They wrapped everything and took great care of my belongings!
Interstate Move
Quoting process was very comprehensive. However, we forewarned the sales rep that they may have issues getting a moving truck down our street. We were assured and reassured this would not be an issue. On loading day, it was an issue. The sales rep wanted us to pay additional fees, and we respectfully said no because we were transparent up front, and we were not responsible for determining what size of truck they would use for the move. The driver, Delono G., was extremely professional and his crews on both ends (loading and unloading) were courteous and very efficient. We're not finished unpacking, but so far we have seen little to no damage. Compared to other companies we received quotes from, they were the most thorough in taking inventory and the price was guaranteed. Aside from the one issue mentioned, the overall experience was very positive.

Nice Move Second Time Around
We previously used George Moving to move us into our last house 15 years ago and were very well satisfied with that move. So when we decided to sell that house and move into a patio home, George Moving was an easy decision for us to make. The quote was reasonable and the 4 guys who did the move for us were very nice and took good care in the handling of our furniture. Although we don't see any more moves in our future, we would certainly recommend George Moving & Storage.
