With the iconic flair of one of the most storied baseball franchises in America, nothing beats a date night out or time with great company at the ballpark. Home to the beloved Pittsburgh Pirates, PNC Park offers guests from every age and stage the opportunity to take in a ballgame in a fantastic setting.

Although the team itself could leave much to be desired as of late, since the Bucs haven’t won the World Series since 1979, the beautiful, storied ballpark still offers plenty for visitors to enjoy. Besides major league baseball, PNC Park also offers concerts and events throughout the summer. Featured performers in 2023 include Pink, Morgan Wallen, and Guns N’ Roses.

This A to Z Visitors’ guide answers many frequently asked questions for newcomers to move around PNC Park. For tickets or answers to any additional questions, you can reach out by phone at 1-800-BUY-BUCS (1-800-289-2827). You can also contact the Pirates’ Guest Relations team via email, talkback@pirates.com.

Getting Tickets

Single game and promotional game tickets can be purchased online in advance or in-person the day of the game. After ordering your tickets, you’ll need to download and access the MLB app. Naturally as the season progresses (and especially if the team’s record isn’t doing so well), then tickets are easier to obtain. You could also check on 3rd-party websites such as StubHub and vividseats.com.

Getting There

There are a number of public garages in Downton Pittsburgh that charge standard rates, regardless of whether or not there is a game. Generally it’s quite easy to park in downtown Pittsburgh, have a pre-game drink or a meal, and walk over the Warhol or Fort Duquesne Bridges to save a fair bit of money. (Note: the Clemente Bridge is closed in 2023.)

If you’d rather skip the drive, the T has a stop just steps away from the stadium and the Gateway Clipper frequently offers paid transportation from the South Side in the summer months as well.

Whether you’re new to the area or a longtime resident, whenever you need to find movers or relocation services in any pocket of Pittsburgh, southwestern Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia or eastern Ohio, we’d love to talk!
